What is an Alert

Alerts are a simple and practical way to keep users informed about what is happening on their farm, even when they are not in the field.
In the Wisecrop platform, alerts work as automatic notifications that let the user know whenever something important occurs — whether it’s a weather condition, a scheduled task, or an event that requires attention.

More than simple reminders, alerts help producers make faster and more informed decisions, ensuring that nothing escapes planning and production management.
Each alert is fully customizable: the user defines the condition that triggers it, the message to be sent, and the people who will receive it.

Importance of Alerts
Alerts help monitor everything in real time, so that it becomes possible to:

  1. Avoid production losses by reacting quickly to unfavorable conditions.
  2. Remember planned operations, such as irrigation, fertilization, or phytosanitary treatments.
  3. Automate recurring notifications, reducing the risk of forgetting seasonal tasks.
  4. Monitor weather forecasts and act preventively before critical events.
  5. Facilitate remote management, keeping the producer informed even when away from the farm.
  6. Gain peace of mind, knowing that the system notifies whenever action is needed.

Types of Alerts
Alerts are available across all Wisecrop Applications and adapt to the type of information the user wishes to monitor.
